The design is a rice scooping vessel made of red clay. Unlike ordinary rice scooping bowls, the palm bowl has openings at both ends, with no distinction between top and bottom.
When using it, block the upper opening with your palm to form the bottom. When scooping rice, the rice grains beat in the palm, constantly stimulating the sensitive nerves in the palm. It is as if the rice scooped up one second ago comes alive in the next second.
