Bio Alvaro Uribe is an American-born, Colombian-raised, and New York-based designer. Uribe's vision is to create products with ‘emotional function’, filling users' lives with joy and curiosity. His New York-based studio collaborates with brands numerous international brands, creating work that has received awards such as the Red Dot Design Award and the Good Design Award, with exhibitions at MoMA San Francisco and the Phyletisches Museum in Germany. In addition, Alvaro is a Tenure Professor at Pratt Institute, mentoring new generations of designers.
