OREA Z1 - low waste, better tasting filter coffee

A revolutionary "zero bypass" coffee brewer that maximises extraction and flavour while reducing waste and effort. A unique, fast-flowing 70mm paper filter reduces paper waste 13x per brew. A shower screen sits atop to break down water flow into tiny droplets to reduce agitation in the coffee bed. These, combined with a compact chamber and a wide open bottom, allow for brewing without bypass (all water goes through the coffee), to increase extraction in less time (2-3 minutes). This allows for less coffee use, saving one 2kg of coffee per year. All of this, while also tasting better. Win-Win

Bio An independent company from the heart of London, taking an iterative approach to product design in the world of coffee. Every year, we sit down and think - how can we do this better? We start from scratch and imagine an even better version of our products (if we see the need), on a path to create the best of the best. Being tiny, independent, and self-financed has forced us to take a bottom-up approach, going through the community upwards, investing in products rather than PR. We're proud of what we achieved thus far and excited for what comes next!

We have been around for 3 years and humbled to win product design awards already (EPDA 2023), while our innovative coffee brewers have been used to win 2 of the last 3 World Brewers' Cups (the official world-wide brewing competition).
